The Sudarium moved in order to close the left eyelid with the same piece with which the right eyelid had been closed.

The graphic patch helps notice the pinch to seize the left eyelid to take it down, and as the right eyelid, once it’s closed, it appears clean, but with certain blood trace on the lower part, which denotes it had already been closed.
