| The following four applications took place to loosen feet and hands from the nails. They were performed with the same part of the Sudarium in contact with the Face of Jesus during the first application, and still two more applications, they were, successively, the fifth to let go the left foot (lf) nailed up over on the right foot; the sixth, to separate the right foot (rf); immediately the pole have had to be raised supported on the scaffold (punishment platform), on doing so the Body got the horizontal position and the seventh application continued to loosen the right hand (rh), and the eighth, to unfasten the left hand (lh).
