Reason of the Investigation21/04/2009home|previous|next

Finishing his conference about the Holy Shroud, dictated to his pupils from high school, in 1973 Lent, Manuel Mijares Ferreiro, a brother from Lasalle congregation, asked a question not answered:

“If the holy Shroud contains the traces of the Passion, death and Resurrection of Our Lord,
Why aren’t there human prints of how his Body was handled to bury Him?”

Without him knowing, neither one of his disciples, he had formulated the question for this investigation.

It was in 1998 that the owner of this Site solved it. There are no human prints because Jesus wasn’t touched; that made easier his sepulture. He limited himself to the personal satisfaction of considering he couldn’t prove his theory. Eight years after, noticing the profile of some mysterious photographs, he compiled 14 through Internet during June 2006; as super putting them, resulted a Face more detailed coincident to the one from the Shroud. Opened this site to share it on November 16, 2006.

For its neatness and coincidence with the Face of the Shroud, the photocomposition was the right tool to explore the Sudarium and compare it with the Shroud. The discoveries confirmed the thesis. They were published in this site on June the 16 of 2007.

Because noticing imprecision and increasing discoveries at the first comparison, through the obtainment of a better resolution image of the Sudarium and after having improved the photocomposition of the Holy Face, with better quality copies of two of the Photographs that integrate it, to illustrate it better and recapitulate it in order to make lighter its reading and understanding, this second edition was précised.

About the Shroud, compilation from Barrie Schwortz are recommended, since the object of this Site is to reveal the investigation that is being held here.
